e.l.f. Studio Volume Plumping Mascara Review

Bonjour, mes amis! Como estas? (Like my language switching? ;)) Today I have e.l.f.'s Volume Plumping mascara for y'all. I mentioned this in my haul video, which you can check out here. (Yes, I am shamelessly self promoting my video. Deal with it.) Anyways, let's get back on track... According to e.l.f.'s website, this mascara "coats lashes from root to tip for an intense and dramatic effect" and its "vitamin B rich formula conditions and strengthens for visibly healthier looking lashes". Wow. e.l.f.'s setting the bar pretty low. I like! Let's see how it performs...

This mascara really impressed me. It was only $3 at Target, which is a total steal! The brush isn't too big, but some might find it cumbersome- especially those who don't like the Lashblast/Diorshow style brushes. I don't own either of those, so I can't show a size difference, but I do not think it's as big as those. You won't find tons of volume here, but there is some, and there is definitely added length. I wouldn't say it has an "intense and dramatic" effect- but I think it lives up to all of its other claims. There is little to no smudging, and zero flaking when worn for a full day (we're talking 10 or more hours). 

Bottom Line:

If you're looking for a simple, everyday mascara that enhances your eyelashes, but aren't looking for tons of volume and length, this mascara is for you! It's cheap and performs well, what more could you want? In fact, I may have found my drugstore dupe of Bobbi Brown's Everything mascara, which I already reviewed here. :D If you guys want, I can do a post comparing the two.

Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara Review

Heyy!! Today I have another mascara for you. I know, I know, I've been a little crazy with the mascara's lately. Don't worry, though, it's almost over! I'll have a concealer or foundation review up later today, so get exciteddd! XP Anyways... let's get down to the actual review now. This is Maybelline's Illegal Length, which I already kinda reviewed in my haul video, which you can watch here. This is a relatively new mascara from Maybelline, I believe they came out with it sometime in early 2012. It's a fiber mascara, which means that there are little fibers in the formula that adhere onto your lashes and are supposed to make them longer (don't quote me on that). All I know is that I LOVE it!!

Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara Review

Helloo again! I have a whole slew of posts for you guys today, starting with Bobbi Brown's Everything mascara! Just so you know, this mascara was given to me as a gift- Bobbi Brown cosmetics, while fabulous, are INSANELY expensive. On Sephora's website, this mascara retails for 24 freakin' dollars!! I don't know about you, but there is no way in hell that I am paying that much for a mascara. ANYways, check it out after the jump!

L'Oréal Voluminous Curved Brush Mascara Review

Hey! Today I am reviewing the L'Oréal Voluminous Curved mascara. This mascara is part of the Voluminous line from L'Oréal (obviously :P). The difference is the brush- while the one from the normal Voluminous is your basic, straight mascara brush, this one is curved. Thankfully, this mascara doesn't make ridiculous claims, unlike zillions of other mascaras out there- according to L'Oréal, the "custom-curved brush easily lifts and curls lashes while resisting clumping and flaking" and their "maximizing formula thickens and builds lashes to three times or more their natural fullness". Let's see how it performs!

Maybelline Falsies Flared Volum' Express Mascara Review

Hola! Today I have a Maybelline mascara to show you guys- Falsies Flared. This is from their Volum' Express line, and I bought it a while ago, but I thought it'd be good to review it. It's a volumizing mascara (hence the Volum' Express in the name). Maybelline claims it gives you "300% more visible lashes" and that its "patented Spoon Curler Brush fans out lashes from corner-to-corner" while the "Pro-Keratin formula instantly builds volume without clumping". 300% more volume Maybelline? Really? Well, let's test it out.
